| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays a double-headed imperial eagle with spread wings, the heads surmounted by a single crown, rendered in the Gothic style characteristic of late 15th-century Austrian coinage. The eagle is enclosed within a plain inner circle, with the circumferential legend running along the outer periphery of the flan. The lettering, executed in uncial Gothic characters, reads FR R IMP A E I O V, an abbreviated reference to Frederick III as Roman Emperor. The coin is struck on an irregular flan typical of hammered silver issues of this period, with moderate relief throughout. |
