Obverse description Central shield bearing the quartered arms of Hohenzollern — divided into four quarters with alternating crosshatched and plain fields — surmounted by a princely crown. The heraldic device is rendered in high relief within a beaded border. A circular legend in Latin capitals reads FÜRST. HOHENZ. SIGM., distributed around the periphery of the coin.
