Reverse description The denomination and date are inscribed in four lines across the central field within a decorative wreath of stylised foliate branches with berries, reading '1 / KREU / TZ·ER / 1742'. The text is rendered in bold Roman capitals typical of Swiss cantonal hammered coinage of the period. The wreath encloses the entire inscription and is tied at the base. The coin is bordered by a milled rim of fine radial striae consistent with the obverse.
