| Reverse description | The denomination EIN KREUTZER, the date 1773, and the mintmaster's initial G are displayed within an ornate Baroque cartouche formed by scrolling acanthus and rocaille ornaments. The inscription is arranged in three lines within the cartouche, with EIN on the uppermost line, KREUTZER on the central band, and 1773 followed by the letter G below, all set against a plain field. The decorative frame, with its elaborate curving flourishes, is characteristic of south-German ecclesiastical copper coinage of the late eighteenth century. |
