Description de l’avers	The obverse is printed in red-brown tones and bears a central oval guilloche vignette with the large numeral '1' at its centre, flanked by symmetrical ornamental scrollwork. Bilingual text in German and Hungarian appears in the upper register, with the denomination stated as 'EINE KRONE / EGY KORONA' in bold letterpress across the middle of the note. The lower portion carries the full bank title 'OESTERREICHISCH-UNGARISCHE BANK • OSZTRÁK-MAGYAR BANK', the date 'WIEN, 1. DEZEMBER 1916', and two signature lines designated for the Generalrat-Vorsitzender and Generalsekretär-Vekerjitkar respectively.

To the right, an ornate cartouche carries the large numeral '1'. Anti-counterfeiting warnings appear in German and Hungarian in the lower register, above the serial number.
