| Reverse description | Central field displays a three-line inscription combining Arabic, Devanagari, and Gujarati numerals and text, arranged in horizontal registers. The upper register bears the Hijri year in Arabic numerals (١٢٧٣), the central register the Devanagari text 'गड बा' (referring to the state), and the lower register the Vikram Samvat year in Gujarati numerals (૧૯૧૩) alongside the Arabic mint word 'ضرب' (struck). The design is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with hammered coinage of the Junagadh Mint. The flan shows characteristic irregularity of hand-struck issues from the Kathiawar region. |
