The abbreviated issuer name С.С.С.Р. (U.S.S.R.) appears beneath the denomination, and the date 1926 is inscribed at the bottom of the field. The surrounding legend ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ (Workers of all countries, unite!) runs along the full circumference of the coin.

توضیحات پشت سکه The reverse depicts a standing female peasant figure in full dress, facing left, carrying a sheaf of grain over her shoulder. Behind her to the right, an industrial complex with smokestacks is shown in relief, symbolising the Soviet union of agricultural and industrial labour. To the left in the background, additional figures suggest a collective of workers or farmers. The overall composition reflects the Socialist Realist iconographic programme typical of early Soviet coinage proposals.

اطلاعات تکمیلی

The Soviet brass coinage of 1924–1926 replaced the short-lived aluminum-bronze issues of 1924 and represented the first stable small-denomination metal currency of the New Economic Policy period. Lenin's partial market liberalization had reintroduced the need for functional low-value coinage after years of near-total monetary collapse under War Communism, when kopecks had effectively ceased to matter.

The Leningrad Mint struck these under considerable metallurgical constraint — brass composition varied noticeably across early Soviet issues as the state worked through inconsistent alloy sourcing.
