Reverse description Double-headed imperial eagle displayed, bearing on its breast a small escutcheon combining the arms of Austria and Burgundy. A mint mark appears in the lower field or within the surrounding legend. The Latin circumscription records Ferdinand II's hereditary titles as Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, and Count of Tyrol, with the date placed at the end of the legend. The engraving style reflects the hastily produced billon coinage of the Kipper period.
