背面描述	The reverse displays a Telugu-Kannada inscription arranged in two or three lines within a dotted circular border, reading 'Sri Vira' in reference to the ruling title of the issuing Nayak ruler. The legend is rendered in the Telugu-Kannada script characteristic of Madurai Nayak copper kasu coinage. The inscription occupies the central field, with the surrounding area showing the rough, irregular surface typical of hammered coinage. The border of raised dots frames the legend on the right and bottom periphery.

附加信息	The Madurai Nayaks ruled as nominal vassals of the Vijayanagara Empire before asserting effective independence following Vijayanagara's collapse after the Battle of Talikota in 1565. The dynasty minted copper kasu in substantial quantities throughout the seventeenth century to service local market transactions — small enough in value that they circulated hard and were rarely saved. Most survivors show significant wear precisely because of this.
