Obverse description Stylized standing figure of Garuda rendered in crude hammered relief at center of the field, depicted frontally with wings suggested by angular incuse lines. The design is enclosed within a border of raised pellets or bosses encircling the entire coin face, characteristic of South Indian Nayaka coinage of the 18th century. The execution is typical of the rough artisanal hammered technique employed by the Dharmapuri Nayaka mint.
