Khusrau Khan's reign lasted roughly four months in 1320 before Ghazi Malik — soon to be Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq — marched on Delhi and had him killed, ending the Khalji dynasty entirely. His coinage is consequently scarce, and the billon jital, the workhorse denomination of Delhi Sultanate circulation, survives from his reign in far smaller numbers than from any of his predecessors.
