| Reverse description | Central field displays the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) motif — a lamb passant carrying a staff surmounted by a banner or cross — set within an inner beaded circle. The peripheral legend in uncial Latin characters reads AGNE DEI MI MEI (Agnus Dei Miserere Mei, 'Lamb of God, have mercy on me'), separated by pellet stops. The reverse retains the rough, irregular strike and flan characteristic of this series, consistent with hammered production at the Visby mint during the reign of Frederik I. |
