| Obverse description | Central field bears the crowned royal cypher of King Christian V of Denmark, comprising an interlaced and cursive 'C5' monogram in relief. The elaborate crown surmounting the monogram features a fleur-de-lis finial and decorative arches with foliate detailing. The coin has no surrounding legend, with the monogram and crown occupying nearly the full flan. The edge of the coin shows a fine milled border. The design is rendered in a bold, slightly archaic baroque style characteristic of late 17th-century Danish coinage. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays the denomination and issuing authority inscribed in four horizontal lines across the field: '· I ·' (numeral for one) at top, 'HVID' (the denomination) on the second line, 'DANS' (abbreviation for Daniske, i.e. Danish) on the third line, and the date '1686' on the fourth line. Below the date, flanked by small pellets, appear the mintmaster initials 'G · S ·' identifying mintmaster Georg Schrötter of the Copenhagen Mint. A milled border runs around the entire periphery of the reverse. |
