| Obverse description | Highly stylized, degenerate bust of a ruler facing left, derived from Seleucid prototype ultimately imitating Antiochos I or II. The effigy is rendered in a schematic, barbarous manner, with a large almond-shaped eye, rudimentary facial features, and a striated headdress or diadem indicated by incised lines. A Sogdian legend appears in the field before the bust, crudely executed and partially legible. The overall style reflects the progressive abstraction characteristic of local Sogdian coinage of the early centuries CE. |

| Reverse description | Schematically rendered bridled horse's head facing right, depicted in a bold and highly abstracted style typical of Sogdian imitative coinage. The bridle is indicated by a curved line encircling the muzzle, and two pellets are visible in the field, likely vestigial remnants of the original Seleucid reverse design. The design is confined within a plain, slightly concave flan with no exergual line. The execution is crude but confident, consistent with local workshop production in the Samarqand region. |
