| Reverse description | Central shield of arms of the Del Vasto–Ceva family, comprising horizontal barry stripes, set within an ornate lozenge or curvilinear frame, all contained within a beaded inner circle. Small ornamental dots or pellets are distributed in the angles of the frame. The circumferential Latin legend reads ✠ : GVLES : ET : BONIFACIVS, naming the two co-ruling marquises Guglielmo and Bonifacio, separated by stops and running between the beaded border and the outer rim. The overall style is consistent with North Italian hammered grossi of the early fourteenth century. |
