| Beschrijving keerzijde | Full-length frontal effigy of Saint Stefan (Stephen) standing, depicted with a nimbus and holding a thurible (incense burner), rendered in a hieratic Byzantine-influenced style. The saint is shown in liturgical vestments with fine drapery detail visible on the roughly struck flan. A circular legend in Latin uncial script surrounds the figure, identifying the patron saint of Shkodër (Scutari). The overall treatment is consistent with Dalmatian and Zetan ecclesiastical coinage iconography of the late fourteenth century. |
