| Reverse description | Central device features the frontal aurochs head, the heraldic symbol of Moldavia, rendered in bold relief with a six-pointed star between the horns and a rosette below the muzzle; small lozenge-shaped ornaments flank the neck on either side. The device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend in uncial Latin characters reads *STEFA*WOIWOD, introduced and punctuated by pattée cross stops, identifying the issuing ruler as Voivode Stephen. The overall style is consistent with mid-fifteenth-century Moldavian hammered silver coinage. |
