| 裏面の説明 | Central field bears the heraldic shield of Grand Master Albert of Hohenzollern, depicting an eagle, set upon a long cross that divides the coin into four quadrants and is adorned with decorative terminals. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding circular Latin legend, segmented by the arms of the cross, reads SALVA-NOS-DOMI-NA with the date 1525, forming the devotional inscription 'Salva nos Domina' (Save us, Lady), an invocation of the Virgin Mary. |

Albert of Hohenzollern served as the last Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights to rule Prussia as a monastic state. In 1525, under pressure from Luther — whom he had consulted directly in Wittenberg — Albert dissolved the Order's Prussian branch, converted to Lutheranism, and transformed the territory into the secular Duchy of Prussia under Polish suzerainty. These groschen, struck across the final years of his Grand Mastership, were among the last coins issued under the Order's authority before that transformation permanently ended seven centuries of Teutonic governance in the region.
