| 背面描述 | Imperial orb at center, displaying the denomination mark '4Z' (denoting 1/24 Thaler, i.e. one Groschen) within the lower globe, surmounted by a cross pattée atop the orb. The date 16-15 is divided by the orb at the top of the field. The surrounding legend references Emperor Matthias I with his imperial titles, abbreviated in Latin, reading MATIAS .I.R.I.S.A.16 15. |

Marsberg — formally Obermarsberg — was a small fortified city in Westphalia whose civic coinage rights were perpetually contested between the municipal authority and the Prince-Bishops of Paderborn. This groschen was struck during a window when the city exercised independent minting, shortly before Paderborn reasserted effective control over the region's monetary production. KM#16 is known with minor die variations across the two-year emission period.
