The arms of the cross extend to the inner circle, with small pellets filling the angles between the cross arms and the circle. A double tressure of arcs, echoing the obverse design, frames the central cross within each quarter. The surrounding legend, separated by colon stops, identifies the issuing mint and carries a devotional inscription, rendered in uncial script around the full circumference of the coin. |
