Reverse description A long cross pattee divides the reverse field into four quadrants, its arms extending through the inner legend to the beaded border. The letters F, L, A, and D` are placed individually in the four angles formed by the cross, referencing Flanders. A two-line circular legend in uncial script occupies the field between the inner beaded ring and the outer toothed border. The overall layout follows the standard Gothic groat design of the Burgundian Low Countries.
