| 背面描述 | A long cross divides the field into four quarters, each bearing a Gothic letter within the angle of the cross arms. The circumferential legend is divided by the cross terminals and runs between two beaded borders. The design follows the standard Flemish groot typology of the Burgundian period, with the cross dominating the field and the Flandria attribution integrated into the legend. |

Philip the Bold struck this issue during the period when Flemish monetary policy was being aggressively manipulated to fund Burgundian ambitions — the billon content reflects deliberate debasement rather than a neutral technical choice. The "Jangelaar" name, derived from the Flemish verb meaning to jangle or clatter, was the population's own sardonic label for a coin whose poor silver content announced itself audibly in the purse.
DePas VII-14 is among the more precisely documented types in the Flemish billon series.
