正面描述 Facing crowned bust of Henry VI set within a tressure of nine arches, rendered in the late medieval hammered style characteristic of his Readeption coinage. The crown is depicted without trefoils above its arches, a diagnostic feature distinguishing this issue. The royal effigy is shown with a stylized face and neck, flanked by the arched tressure that frames the portrait within the coin's circular field. Saltire stops punctuate the surrounding circular Latin legend, which runs between inner and outer beaded borders. The legend identifies the king as ruler of England and France by divine grace.

正面铭文 hEnRICV' DI GRA' REX AnGL' Z FRAnC
(Translation: Henry by the Grace of God King of England and France)
背面描述 A bold long cross pattee extends to the coin's beaded border, dividing the reverse field into four quarters, each charged with a group of three pellets arranged in a trefoil formation. A beaded inner circle frames the central field, within which the cross arms terminate in pattee form. Saltire stops separate the words of the circumscribed mint legend, which is disposed across the four quadrants created by the cross. The legend declares the royal motto invoking divine protection and identifies the mint city as London, rendered in the characteristic abbreviated uncial lettering of the period.
