| Obverse description | Facing crowned bust of Edward IV rendered in high relief, the king depicted full-face with flowing hair falling to either side beneath a prominent ornate crown with fleur-de-lis finials. The portrait is set within a beaded inner circle, with the royal visage displaying characteristic late medieval stylization. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust within the beaded border, reading clockwise around the coin's periphery. |

| Reverse description | Long cross pattee extending to the beaded inner circle, dividing the field into four quadrants each containing three pellets arranged in triangular formation, a design characteristic of the Light coinage issue. The arms of the cross are ornamented with a twisted or rope-like treatment. Small quatrefoils or annulets appear in the angles between the cross arms. The mint name and devotional legend are distributed in the surrounding field between the inner beaded circle and the outer rim. |
