Reverse description Long cross pattee extending to the beaded inner circle, dividing the field into four quadrants each containing three pellets arranged in triangular formation, a design characteristic of the Light coinage issue. The arms of the cross are ornamented with a twisted or rope-like treatment. Small quatrefoils or annulets appear in the angles between the cross arms. The mint name and devotional legend are distributed in the surrounding field between the inner beaded circle and the outer rim.
