The composite shield is surrounded by an ornate cusped inner border with decorative quatrefoil elements visible at the upper angles. A crown of elaborate Gothic design surmounts the shield. The entire device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend in Gothic lettering arranged between the inner beaded ring and the outer toothed rim. |
