正面描述	The obverse carries portrait vignettes of Emperor Jacques I (Jean-Jacques Dessalines, 1758–1806) and President Pierre Nord Alexis (1820–1910), flanking the National Coat of Arms of Haiti, all set within an elaborate engraved border typical of American Bank Note Company workmanship. The composition commemorates the centennial of Haitian independence, with the two figures representing the revolutionary founding era and the contemporary presidency. Guilloche underprint patterns and fine-line engraving fill the surrounding field.

背面描述	The reverse is printed in green and dominated by an intricate guilloche rosette design with large ornamental numeral "1" cyphers at left and right flanking a central rectangular panel. The panel contains a French-language legal warning against counterfeiting, set in capital serif letterpress type, above the inscription REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI along the lower border. The printer's imprint of the American Bank Note Company appears at the bottom centre.
