| 裏面の説明 | Central trefoil design with three lobes, each enclosing a shielded coat of arms: the large central shield bears the arms of the Archbishopric of Trier, while smaller shields at the upper left and upper right display the personal arms of Werner of Falkenstein. At the base of the trefoil, two seahorses (hippocampi) are depicted in heraldic confronted posture, a distinctive feature of Koblenz mint issues. The surrounding legend in uncial characters reads MOnETA nOVA COVEL, identifying this as new coinage of Koblenz. The composition is framed within a beaded inner circle and an outer milled border. |
