Obverse description Five heraldic shields arranged in a quatrefoil pattern within a inner beaded circle. The uppermost shield bears a diagonal barry design (Palatinate arms), flanked by small decorative crosses. The three lower shields display, from left to right, a rosette or wheel (Julich or similar), a rampant lion (Bavaria), and a lozengy field (Veldenz or Sponheim), with a fifth smaller shield bearing an eagle at the base. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial characters runs along the outer border.

Reverse description Full-length frontal figure of a nimbed bishop saint, standing on a decorative plinth, vested in ecclesiastical robes with a pallium, raising the right hand in benediction and holding a pastoral staff (crozier) in the left hand. A small eagle or bird appears at the saint's upper left. The figure is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a Gothic uncial legend running around the outer border.
