Obverse description Central imperial orb surmounted by a cross, enclosed within a cusped trefoil quatrefoil frame composed of four lobes, all set within a beaded inner circle. The orb bears a prominent cross on globe motif in relief. A Gothic outer legend in uncial characters surrounds the entire design, separated from the inner field by the beaded border. The overall composition follows the standard Rhenish Goldgulden obverse type associated with King Albert II.
