Beschrijving keerzijde Reverse field entirely occupied by multiple lines of Arabic inscription in bold hammered relief, covering the full surface of the irregular copper flan. The script is rendered in a characteristically robust Bahmani style, with the legends distributed across the field in horizontal registers. Significant green patination and wear are visible across the surface, consistent with prolonged circulation. The coin displays typical irregularities of hand-struck Bahmani copper issues of the mid-fifteenth century.

Aanvullende informatie

The Bahmani Sultanate's copper issues from this reign fall within the rule of Humayun Shah, known in contemporary sources as "the Cruel" — a reputation earned through a documented pattern of executing courtiers on personal whim. His reign lasted only four years before he died of illness in 1461, leaving a treasury and administration in considerable disorder. Copper gani issues of this period are poorly documented in the major references, and attribution to specific regnal years within the reign is not currently possible from physical characteristics alone.
