| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of King Frederik VII facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair and a short beard. The portrait is positioned centrally within the coin field, with the engraver's initials F.K. incused below the neck truncation. A continuous beaded border frames the design. The circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading FREDERICVS VII to the upper left and D·G·DANIÆ V·G·REX to the right, invoking the king's full royal title by the Grace of God. |
