Obverse description Figure of Hercules depicted in dynamic striding pose to the right, drawing a bow. To the left stands the crowned monogram of Prince Louis II, consisting of two interlaced 'L' initials surmounted by a princely crown, with the inscription DEOJVVANTE below. The circular legend HERCUL·MONOEC· frames the upper field, referencing the Herculis Monoeci tradition of Monaco. The engraver's name EMLINDAUER and the date 1926 appear in the lower field. The design is executed in a bold, classical style with fine milled border.
