| Aanvullende informatie |
Charles X's 1830 franc exists against one of the shortest political countdowns in French numismatic history — the king was deposed in the July Revolution that same year, having reigned only six years after succeeding his brother Louis XVIII. The four-leaf reverse die (referenced as F#208A) is a recognized variety distinguished from the more common reverse by the arrangement of ornamental elements between the inscription, making it a legitimate attribution target rather than a minor curiosity.
Production at Paris was cut short by the political collapse of July, concentrating surviving examples heavily toward earlier strikes in the year.
