The years 1917 and 1919 appear within shield cartouches at the left and right margins respectively, while the large bold numeral "1" dominates the central field against a pale guilloche underprint. A block of small-type text at the lower centre sets out the guarantee and redemption conditions, with the printer's imprint "ROBAUDY CANNES" at the lower left. |
