| Opis rewersu | The reverse, executed in the same two-colour Art Nouveau idiom, is bordered by a rich decorative frame of grapevines and foliage in ochre-gold and black. Two stylised trees flank the central panel, each surmounted by a heraldic shield — the left bearing the caduceus of commerce, the right an anchor — while the large denomination "UN 1 FRANC" occupies the centre above the facsimile signatures of the President and Treasurer. A cartouche at the foot records the deliberation of 19 April 1917 and the ministerial decision of 25 April 1917, with the designer's name "Marius SIMON" inscribed at the lower left. |

Robaudy in Cannes was a natural choice for regional printing work; the firm handled considerable commercial and decorative printing along the Côte d'Azur throughout the period.
Marius Simon's design credit is worth noting — he was a locally active artist, and the engagement of a named designer rather than an anonymous commercial layout reflects the civic pride many chambers invested in these otherwise functional pieces.
