| Obverse description | Dark blue and green letterpress note with an intricate guilloche border enclosing decorative corner cartouches bearing the numeral '1'. A central oval vignette, set against a pale green guilloche underprint bearing the repeated text 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE CALAIS', frames the denomination 'UN FRANC' in large bold letters within an ornate scrollwork cartouche.
