A circular vignette at top centre bears an anchor motif encircled by the legend CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'AVIGNON, and the border is composed of intricate guilloche rosette bands with small heraldic vignettes at each corner. The body of the note carries the full legal text of the emission in French, including the terms of issue authorised by deliberation of 11 August 1915 and the redemption deadline of 11 August 1920, with the guarantee clause in bold italic at foot; a red handstamp appears at centre. |

Ils sont toujours échangeables, par sommes rondes de 50 francs au moins, contre des billets de la Banque de France. Leur émission étant faite, pour une durée de cinq ans, en vertu d'une délibération du 11 août 1915, ils devront être présentés, avant le 11 août 1920, au remboursement définitif. Ce remboursement est garanti par le dépôt à la Banque de France de leur contre-valeur en billets de banque. |
