| 背面描述 | Central field displaying a multi-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script, divided by a horizontal rule into two registers. The upper register bears a prominent inscription with the ruler's epithet or mint formula, while the lower register contains additional text completing the royal legend. The lettering is strongly struck in high relief, with characteristic Bahmani script style. The coin exhibits the typical irregular flan and green cuprite patination of this series. |

Muhammad Shah II ruled the Bahmani Sultanate through a period of sustained conflict with the Vijayanagara Empire to the south, and his reign saw the sultanate consolidate control over the Deccan plateau through a series of costly wars. Copper falus coinage of this period was the workhorse of local bazaar commerce, largely invisible to the treasury records that documented gold and silver issues — which is precisely why surviving examples with legible mint details are scarcer than their original production volumes would suggest.
