| Reverse description | Arabic legends in Naskh script occupy the central field, arranged in two or three lines, recording the mint name Balkh and the regnal year in Eastern Arabic numerals. Floral or rosette ornaments, rendered as small pellet clusters, are positioned at the upper center and lower corners of the legend, serving as decorative fillers. The irregular flan edge and characteristic weak strike in areas are consistent with hammered copper production at the Balkh provincial mint during the reign of Dost Muhammad Khan. |
