The lettering is heavily stylized, with individual characters showing prominent raised strokes and interstitial pitting typical of hammered Deccan coinage of the mid-sixteenth century. The field surrounding the legend is uneven with natural flan irregularities and patchy blue-green patination overlying the copper substrate. No border or decorative frame is evident, consistent with the utilitarian character of Adil Shahi base-metal issues. The overall strike is typical of the period, with moderate die wear and characteristic surface porosity. |
