Obverse description Central field bears multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic religious legend arranged in concentric bands, characteristic of early Abbasid-influenced coinage. The inscription is enclosed within a circular border with additional marginal legend running along the inner rim. The script is angular Kufic, deeply struck on an irregular copper flan with natural surface patination. The overall design follows the aniconic tradition of Islamic coinage, with no figurative imagery, relying entirely on calligraphic text for its decorative and informational content.
