| Obverse description | Central field bears multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic religious legend arranged in concentric bands, characteristic of early Abbasid-influenced coinage. The inscription is enclosed within a circular border with additional marginal legend running along the inner rim. The script is angular Kufic, deeply struck on an irregular copper flan with natural surface patination.
