The script is executed in the Kufic style characteristic of Central Asian Islamic coinage of the early 11th century. The overall composition follows the standard Abbasid-derived epigraphic layout, with the shahada or related formulae occupying the central area. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with the design struck off-center in typical hammered fashion. Surface shows natural patination and wear consistent with circulation use.
