| Description du revers | Central field bearing a large bold Arabic inscription in flowing Naskh script occupying the majority of the die area, reading the mint name Sari (ساری). A border of raised pellets encircles the inner field, mirroring the obverse border treatment. The inscription is rendered with pronounced, deeply cut strokes typical of hammered copper fulus of the region. The field surrounding the lettering is flat and largely unadorned. The overall design is consistent with anonymous civic coinage struck at the mint of Sari in northern Iran. |

Sari, situated in the Caspian coastal region of Mazandaran, produced anonymous copper fals issues during the medieval Islamic period when local dynasties and city authorities occasionally struck low-denomination coinage outside the main Abbasid or regional dynastic minting hierarchy. Anonymous attributions like this one present persistent difficulties — without a ruler's name, dating relies almost entirely on stylistic comparison and find context.
