正面描述	Frontal view of the medieval keep of Loches (Donjon de Loches), rendered in fine relief against a plain field. A decorative sprig appears to the lower right of the fortification. Twelve stars arranged in a circle border the upper and lateral periphery of the coin, evoking the European Union motif. The date '1997' and event dates '11 OCT. 11 NOV.' are inscribed in the upper field, while the issuing body's acronym 'N.A.F.S.E.P.' and the place name 'LOCHES' appear in the lower field.
