Mô tả mặt sau Identical in design to the obverse, this face also bears the large numeral '1' occupying the left portion of the field, with 'EURO' over 'CENT' inscribed to the upper right. The globe motif in the lower right quadrant shows the continents of Europe and Africa amid radiating lines, symbolising the European community. Twelve five-pointed stars arc around the lower rim in reference to the European Union flag. The double-sided nature of this pattern piece results in both faces sharing the standard euro cent common design, with medal alignment between the two sides.

Thông tin bổ sung

A double-sided error — both faces struck from the same die orientation — this piece falls into the category of mint errors produced during the chaotic early production runs ahead of the euro's January 1999 accounting introduction and the 2002 physical launch. The European Central Bank coordinated coin production across twelve national mints simultaneously, an unprecedented logistical undertaking that predictably generated a higher error rate than any single sovereign mint would have tolerated.
