Reverse description The reverse displays the standard common European design for the 1 euro cent denomination, engraved by Luc Luycx. A large numeral '1' dominates the left and central portion of the field, while the inscription EURO CENT appears in two lines to the upper right. A stylized globe rendered in a cartographic projection occupies the lower right quadrant, emphasizing Europe's position on the world stage. Diagonal lines in the background lend a sense of depth and dynamism to the composition. A partial arc of six small five-pointed stars is visible along the lower left rim, with the engraver's initials LL present in the field.
