| Obverse description | Small armored bust of Fernando VI facing right, rendered in the crudely stylized macuquina tradition, with flowing long hair falling to the shoulder. The effigy occupies the central field of the irregularly shaped flan, with the surrounding Latin legend partially visible around the periphery. The date 1751 appears within the legend. The overall die-work is characteristic of the Guatemala mint's hammered coinage of the mid-eighteenth century, with uneven strike and irregular flan edges typical of cob-style production. |

| Reverse description | Crowned Spanish royal arms shield at center, displaying the quartered coat of arms of Castile and León with the Granada pomegranate in base, flanked on either side by the assayer's initial J, rendered in a vertical arrangement. The mint mark G appears below the shield, with the denomination numeral I to the right. A partial circular Latin legend surrounds the design along the periphery of the irregular flan. The crown above the shield is of the Spanish imperial type, boldly struck relative to the central arms. |
