Reverse description The interlaced VOC monogram of the Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie (United East India Company) is prominently displayed in the center of the field, dividing the four digits of the date. A mintmark appears at the top between two stars. A 'V' countermark of uncertain origin is applied to the reverse field. The overall design is simple and utilitarian, consistent with the colonial copper coinage of the Dutch East Indies.
