| Beschrijving voorzijde | The Lion of St. Mark seated left, holding the Gospel, faces the kneeling doge Nicolò Sagredo at right, who presents a staff surmounted by a cross and pennant. The composition reflects the traditional Venetian ducatone iconographic scheme, with the doge in ceremonial robes rendering homage.
